Congratulations, President Obama

It's inauguration day, but this footage is of our brand new funky president referring to himself as a mutt. Of course, President Obama is the mutt par excellence, and what exactly that means will be the subject of much discussion on this blog.

Obviously, mutt is not a pejorative on this blog and shouldn't be anywhere. Mutts are what most (if not all) of us are, and it's time to embrace and be proud of it. We are a nation of mutts, and I could not be more proud of our new president. Congratulations, President Obama.
